Training for Consultants and Other Family History Callings

Just when we are released, as Area Advisers, after 7 years, the church comes out with an official consultant training packet. This is joyful!.  With so many people coming up with their own training materials, I was worried that they would not follow or interpret the official handbook and this was so important that we used the same wording or verbiage that the leaders had spoken in whatever we created. Thank heavens, it is also in other languages, that was something we were not able to accomplish on our own.   It was ALWAYS important to do one on one with our Stake Presidencies to help them find opportunities for ordinances.  We showed them how to cure end of line scenarios so create more opportunities.  It was always our goal to help people realize how to make their Temple experience more personal, to increase their testimony of Jesus Christ.

Now, we are resuming our other two callings -Stake and Ward consultants.  We always said at the end of our presentations that we were not asked to or conscripted to make our help, but 4 area seventies and 4 mission Presidents worked with us and the Lord to create many miracles.  Thank you for your notes and e-mails of encouragement.
